Blog: Full Width ( No Sidebar )

This is an example of a Blog page without sidebar.  You have to select a Page Template as "Blog: Full Width ( No Sidebar ) " under the Page Attributes on the right hand side of your page editor ( Just below the page Update button ). Check the following image as reference. You do not need to set a blog page under the reading settings to show your blog. Instead select a page template as blog and your blog posts will be shown on that page.
